Introduction

Crockpot Lasagna (Hubby's favorite he doesn't even like the oven style one anymore) Obviously to reduce calories and fat you could use ground chicken or turkey and cottage chees instead of low fat ricotta cheese. Ingredients

    8 uncooked lasagna noodles
1 lb ground beef (I use ground turkey or when I can find it Italian Turkey sausage, this is the best!)
    1 tsp Italian seasoning
    28 oz jar spaghetti sauce
    1/3 cup water
    4 oz can sliced mushrooms
15 oz low fat ricotta cheese
    2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions

Brown ground beef/turkey in skillet. Drain. Stir in Italian seasoning.

Break noodles into thirds. Place half in bottom of greased crockpot. Spread half of ground beef/turkey mixture over noodles in crockpot.

On top of beef, layer 1/2 of sauce, 1/2 of water, 1/2 of mushrooms, 1/2 of ricotta, and 1/2 of mozerrella cheese. Repeat all layers starting over with broken noodles.

Cover and cook for 5 hours on low
