Introduction

my Grandma's family recipe for tasty, sticky buns! my Grandma's family recipe for tasty, sticky buns!
Number of Servings: 30

Ingredients

    1/2 Cup shortening
    1/2 Cup sugar
    1 egg
    1 Pint lukewarm water
    1 packet yeast (~3 tsp)
    1 tsp salt
    Flour (enough to stiffen to dough)
    margarine (or use Smart Balance type spread)
    cinnamon (~2 Tbs)
    brown sugar (~1-1 1/2 Cups)

Directions

mix first 6 ingredients well, then add flour (slowly) to 'stiffen' to dough. Let rise.
Roll out & spread with Smart Balance, then sprinkle with brown sugar & cinnamon. Roll up like jelly roll then slice (or use dental floss) to make ~1 inch rolls & place in greased/buttered dish & let rise ~20minutes before baking for ~20-24minutes @350F.
