Introduction
These stuffed meatballs are WONDERFUL on bolillo bread with either tomato sauce or alfredo. The basil compliments both well and the cheese is melt-in-your-mouth goodness! Ingredients

1/4 c Italian bread crumbs
1/3 c nonfat milk
1/2 lb. lean ground beef (93%)
1 egg
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tbsp basil
1 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
2 ounces Sargento Light String Cheese (50 calories a stick)
Directions
Preheat oven at 350.
In bowl, combine milk and bread crumbs. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Add ground beef, egg, garlic salt, basil and Parmesan cheese.
Slice string cheese into 6 pieces each.
Take meat mixture and form meatballs around the cheese pieces. Place on greased pan. Should make 12 meatballs.
Bake 20-25 minutes.
If you are serving with sauce (not calculated in nutritional info) bring sauce to boil, add meatballs and serve once heated through. This is VERY good as a meatball sub! You can even add some more mozzarella by stringing another Sargento stick.
Serving size here is one meatball only. You will need to multiply for each and add our pasta, bread and sauce information.
