Introduction
I use a NINJA BLENDER & a griddle that will cook 8 slices at a time. I use a NINJA BLENDER & a griddle that will cook 8 slices at a time.Number of Servings: 20
Ingredients
-
1 dozen large eggs
3 oz water
1/4 c. canola oil
20 slices Franz Thick Sliced Texas Toast
Directions
Makes 20 slices of french toast. 1 serving is 1 slice
Crack the eggs into the NINJA BLENDER. Add 3 oz of water. Blend till completely smooth.
Pour into a shallow dish like a pie tin. Set next to griddle.
Turn griddle to 350-375 degrees. Use a little of the canola oil to coat the griddle so the french toast doesn't stick.
Dip a slice of bread into egg mixture (both sides wet), and place on griddle. I do not let the bread soak in the mixture or it will still be soggy in the middle when done cooking.
I let my french toast cook on one side until the top side looks a little dry. I check 1 piece to see if the underside is golden-dark brown. When it is, then I turn it over. When the 2nd side is golden-dark brown I remove it from the griddle.
Repeat till all egg mixture is gone, about 20 pieces of bread. (Depending on how long they were in the egg mixture before cooking)
