Introduction

Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    1 1/2 lb low fat groud beed
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 can of sliced green beans
    6-8 C. coarsley chopped cabbage
    3 C. sliced, frozen okra
    1 large onion
    6-8 tbsp. chili powder
    4 tbsp crushed red pepper
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 can of water.

Directions

Brown ground beef, drain. Add water, and all vegatables, except okra, and seasonings. Cook on Med heat for approx. 30-45 min, then add okra and cook 10-15 min. more. Eat and enjoy! Serves approx. 12-15 one cup servings.

    I made this and it was great except I deleted the okra and used shredded carrots and mushrooms instead..also added garlic and worcestire sauce..fantastic! - 5/31/11
