Ingredients

    Lentils, 3 cup
    Del Monte Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added, 2 cup
    Onions, 2 cup, chopped
    Ginger, 2 tsp
    Garlic, 2 tsp
    Cumin, 2 tsp
    Turmeric, 2 tsp
    Coriander, 2 tsp
    Morton Salt Substitute, 3 tsp
    Vegetable Oil, 1 tbsp
    Milk, 2%, 4 fl oz
    Water, 8 cups

Directions

Place dal and water in the slow cooker along with the salt and turn on low. In a frying pan, heat the oil, add the onions and tomatoes and all other spices and cook until reduced. Add mixture to dal and let cook 6 -8 hours. Add milk before serving.
