Beef broth, bouillon, consomme, 16 cup s
Onions, raw, 1 large
Ginger Root, 6 slices (1" dia)
Lemon grass (citronella), fresh, 1 cup
Beef, bottom sirloin, tri-tip roast, trimmed, 453.6 grams
Cilantro, raw, 16 tbsps
Jalapeno Peppers, 3 peppers
Limes, 2 fruit (2" dia)
White Rice, long grain, 2 cups
*Hoisin Sauce, .5 tbsps
*Fish Sauce, 3 tbsps
Hot Pepper Sauce, 1 tsp
Pepper, black, 1 tsp
Directions
1. In a large soup pot, combine broth, onion, ginger, lemon grass, and black pepper.
2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cover. Simmer for 1 hour.
3. Place the cilantro, jalapeno peppers, and lime on a platter.
4. Soak the noodles in hot water to cover for 15 minutes or until soft, then drain.
5. Place equal portions of noodles into 6 large soup bowls, and place raw beef on top.
6. Let the hot broth sit over the noodles and beef.
7. Finally add limon, cilantor, and peppers.
8. Enjoy.
