Introduction

A healthy and delicious bean dip that can be served as an appetizer, or used as an alternative to hummus in sandwiches and wraps! A healthy and delicious bean dip that can be served as an appetizer, or used as an alternative to hummus in sandwiches and wraps!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    *2 cup white cannelini beans
    *juice of 1/2 lemon, squeezed
    *1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
    *1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
    *chopped garlic
    *fresh rosemary, roughly chopped
    *fresh oregano, roughly chopped
    *salt and pepper to taste

Directions

DIRECTIONS:

1. Combine white cannelini bean, lemon juice and olive oil in food processor. Process until smooth.

2. In small saucepan, heat chopped garlic. Add herbs, and cook until soft.

3. Add bean puree to saucepan, and heat. Slowly stir in the cheese. Cheese should melt into bean puree.

4. Add water to the bean puree until dip reaches a creamy consistency, about 1/2 cup.

5. Serve and enjoy
