Introduction

Ingredients

    Beans, pinto, 12 cup
    *Pork, fresh, loin, blade (chops or roasts), bone-in, separable lean and fat, raw, 3 lb
    Bay Leaf, 1 tbsp, crumbled
    Rosemary, dried, 1 tbsp
    Basil, 1 tbsp
    Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp
    Sage, ground, 1 tbsp
    Bacon, 6 medium slices, cooked (raw product)
    Water

Directions

Clean the beans over night, then place in a large stock pot and cook on stove or in a cooker. Place on Med. High on the stove if you use the stock pot. Then after the beans have cooked for about half an hour add the bacon, herbs and the pork chops. Cook until the beans lose their spots and the meat is tender and well cooked.

You may have to continue adding water as you go.
