Introduction

Ingredients

    2 litres ( qt ) home made chicken stock ( or low sodium )
    1 cup romano Beans
    1 medium onion diced
    1 lb ( 454 gr ) raw carrot diced
    8 oz ( 225 gr ) parsnip diced
    4 oz ( 100 gr ) celery
    2 plum tomatoes diced
    1 red pepper diced
    4 oz ( 100 gr ) Orzo pasta
    2 tbsp fresh ground black pepper
    2 tbsp garlic powder
    1 tbsp Dried parsley
    1 tbsp driced Basil
    1 tbsp Summer Savory

Directions

Makes 12 8 0z servings.

Using a 4 L ( qt ) stock pot, pour in your already made ( or purchased ) 2 L ( QT ) OF low sodium chicken stock, and add in your 1 c of Romano Beans. Bring to medium heat. & let run for 30 minnutes. Dice onion, carrot, parsnip, celery & red pepper...add to pot at end of first 30minutes. At this time please stir thru 100% of all seasonings & bring soup to a boil. Now, at the 45 minute mark, please add in your diced plum tomatoes & the 4 oz ( 100 gr ) of Orzo pasta. Running covered at low - medium heat for the remaining 15 minutes of cooking time.

Don't worry...the Orzo won't burn on!

Ladle up & serve with Fresh toasted Garlic Bread & a Ceasar Salad.
