Ingredients

    Ingredients:

    * *Goya Green Split Peas, 2.5 cup
    * *Carrot, 1 7" long carrot, 1 serving
    * *Celery - 1 medium Stalk, 1 serving
    * *Onion - Sweet fresh, .5 cup
    * *Yams, 1.5 cup, cubes
    * *Aldi Ham (Cubes), 8 oz
    * *1/4 tbls. olive oil, 4 serving

Directions

Saute onion, carrot and celery in olive oil. Add bag of Goya split peas along with 8 cups of water. Add cubed yams and cubed ham. Cook for about one hour. If smoother soup is desired, use hand blender to blend soup while still in pot.
