Introduction

Great on the BBQ! Keeps well in the freezer. I like to serve this with sauteed onions & mushrooms & low-fat mayo. I don't use a bun to keep down my calories, but my wife does. Ingredients

    600 gm ground beef
    1/2 cup oats1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1 egg
    3/4 cup salsa

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Divide into 6 patties (I use a Tupperware patty mold). wrap & freeze until it's BBQ time!
Cook on medium heat until the meat is done.
Serve with sauteed onions & mushrooms & a low-fat mayo
