Ingredients

- 1 lb. Penne Pasta of your choice
- 1 stick Butter
- About half cup white Flour
- 1 lb. of Ground beef
- 1 small Onion - Finely minced
- 1 Can Tomato Sauce (12 oz)
- Dash salt, pepper and allspice for seasoning
- 5 cups Milk, 2%
- One cup Parmesan Cheese
Directions
== Makes 12 servings each 3x3 Macaroni piece ==
- Cook meat, Onions and spices in a non stick skillet or sauce pan over medium heat until meat is browned but not burnt.
- Add Tomato sauce, bring to a boil, then lower heat and cover for about 7 minutes. Set aside.
- Meanwhile Cook Pasta a la dente.
- Keep Milk and Butter at room temperature to prepare the Bashamel Sauce.
Prepare Bashamel Sauce:
- In a non-stick sauce pan, pour flour on Milk. Mix well with a wisk.
- Start heating the sauce pan on Medium, then add the softened Butter.
- Add half the Parmesan cheese and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Continue constant wisking until Sauce thickens.
Put it all together:
- Mix half the Bashamel Sauce on the Pasta
- In a Large 13 X 9 Ovenproof pan, Layer half the Pasta, add the Ground Beef, and sprinkle the remainder of the Parmesan Cheese.
- Add the rest of the Pasta, and cover with the remainder of the Bashamel Sauce. Pasta should be completely covered.
- Bake in the middle rack on 375, until the Bashamel Top is Golden brown (20-30 minutes).
- Cut into 12 (3x3 inch) pieces, and Enjoy!
Note:
- You can prepare this recipe in advance, keep it frozen in the Ovenproof Pan, thaw and bake before use.
- Leftover can be heated in Microwave or preferably a Toaster oven.
