Introduction

This has always been one of our favorite Christmas morning and company breakfasts. Needed a healthier version so I substituted the high fat sausage for the vege sausage and eggs for southwestern egg beaters. Nobody knows the difference. 5 WW pts per serv. Ingredients

    12 ounces of Morning Star Sausage Vege. Crumlbes
    8 slices reduced calorie white bread slices
    8 ounces reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 tsp dry mustard
    1 cup Southwester Egg Beaters
    2 cups, 1% milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Thaw sausage crumbles in microwave. Coat a 9 x 13 casserole dish with cooking spray. Tear up the 8 slices of bread and spread in the prepared casserole dish. Layer the sausage over the bread. Layer the cheese over the sausage. Mix Egg Beaters with dry mustard and pour over layers.
Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
