Introduction

Ingredients

    4 T butter, salted
    1 Cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour (our AP flour, or White Whole Wheat)
    3/4 cup Whey Low sugar replacement (or regular sugar or Splenda)
    4T Buttermilk Blend, dry buttermilk
    2 t baking powder
    1/4 t salt
    1/2 t baking soda
    1/2 t cinnamon
    2 cups sliced fruit or berries
    1T Whey Low Gold (or regular or Raw Sugar)
    1/2 t cinnamon

Directions

Put the butter in a pie pan and put it in the oven. Heat oven to 350. Mix all the dry ingredients except for the 1T brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Add 1 cup of water and mix just till blended - there may be lumps. Take out pie pan with melted butter and pour batter into pan. Drop fruit on top of batter. Combine the 1T brown sugar with 1/4 t cinnamon and sprinkle on top. Bake for 45-50 min until dark golden brown and set.
