Ingredients

    Thin sliced pork
    olive oil
    soy sauce
    boil in bag brown rice
    mixed vegetables (frozen)
    Bean sprouts
    water chestnuts
    2 eggs

Directions

Cut pork into small pieces. Put in a measuring cup. Shake soy sauce over meat until covered. Let soak 10-15 min. In a large frying pan put in olive oil, get warm. Put in soaked pork. When pork is done, move to 1 side of pan. Add cooked rice, stir, add vegetables, stir well. Cook on low until vegetables are done.

    I agree with the first reviewer that a little more direction would be helpful (i.e., what do we do with the egg?). I'll do it with a t. of sesame oil and recalculate my calorie count. No way will I use water chestnuts -- you never find them in this dish at a restaurant! - 1/3/12

    I make a very similar recipe at home. I learned it from a Japanese exchange student at school. It's so good that I have to cook it in secret and hide the leftovers or I'll never get to put it in my lunch box! - 4/3/11
