spray 8X8 pan with pam. slice potatoes and onions very thin...i use my mandolin. make a white sauce using only the flour and milk and seasoning. add cheese. layer potato and onions..season your layers. pour thickened cheese sauce over it. loosley cover with foil and bake 350 oven for about 60 minutes. uncover last few minutes to brown top. cut into 4 squares and serve.
