1 large yellow onion, chopped
1 celery stalk, chopped
1 serrano chile, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, chopped
1 1/4 pounds 99% fat-free ground turkey breast
1 cup tomato sauce, no salt added
1/4 cup ketchup, no salt added
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 cups finely shredded romaine lettuce
Directions
Instructions:
1.Spray a large skillet with nonstick spray and warm over medium-high heat. Add the onion, celery, serrano chile and garlic and cook, stirring frequently, until vegetables are lightly browned about 4 minutes. Stir in the meat and stir until no longer pink, about 3 minutes. Add the tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and pepper.
2.Bring to a simmer and cook until hot about 2 minutes longer. Cover with lettuce and serve.
