    .1 c Masa Harina
    1 1/3 c all purpose flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    3/4 t sale
    1/2 c melted butter


Mix dry ingredients. Add 1/2 cup melted butter. Add water to make dough consistency. Allow time for starch to absorb liquid. Divide into 16 pieces. Roll into disc shape. Fill with empanada filling of choice. Dab water on edges to seal. Crimpe edges. Brush outside with egg wash. Bake in 375 oven for 20-25 mins or until golden brown.
