    # *Flour, white, 4.5 cup
    # Baking Soda, 2 tsp
    # Salt, 2 tsp
    # *Shortening, Crisco, 2 cup
    # Brown Sugar, 1.5 cup, packed
    # Vanilla Extract, 2 tsp
    # Egg, fresh, 4 large
    # *White Chocolate Chips, 12 oz.
    # Macadamia nuts, 1 cup


Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Cream together sugars and Crisco. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Gradually stir in dry ingredient mixture. Before all flour mixture is mixed in, add chips and nuts. Roll into 1 inch dough balls; place on cookie sheet. Bake 375 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes. Let cool on cookie sheet for a few minutes before removing to a cooling rack. Yield 5 to 6 dozen cookies.
