Ingredients
-
1/2 lb Ground Turkey
8oz of Whole Wheat Spaghetti
2 cups of Healthy Spaghetti Sauce (I found Francesco Rinaldi To Be Healthy Tomato & Basil @ HEB)
4 slices of Orowheat Premium Italian Bread
1 tsp Garlic Powder
Directions
Sauce:
Brown the turkey meat in a pan, drain the meat, add the garlic powder, add the sauce and let simmer for approximately 10 minutes.
Spaghetti:
Boil water in a sauce pan, when boiling add a pinch of salt and the spaghetti. When the spaghetti is done, I usually take a piece and chew it to find the consistency I want. Drain the spaghetti, place in a bowl with a tablespoon of margarine or butter and mix until the spaghetti is well coated.
Garlic Toast:
Take four slices of the italian bread, use a teaspoon of margarine or butter and spread evenly, sprinkle the top with garlic powder. Toast in the oven under the broiler or grill it in a pan on the stove.
This services four people.
