Introduction

Turkey Burger in a Red Sauce with Whole Wheat Pasta Turkey Burger in a Red Sauce with Whole Wheat Pasta
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    Turkey Burger,
    Crushed Tomatoes
    Whole Wheat Pasta,
    Olive Oil,
    Garlic,
    Spices

Directions

Saute turkey burger with pressed garlic until meat is cooked. Add 2 cans of crushed tomatoes (28 oz each). Add Spices (can adjust to your own tastes). I would add onions to the meat if it was not for my kids. I do many times. Stir mixture and reduce heat to simmer and cover.

Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook whole wheat pasta according to package instructions (for spaghetti it is usually 10-11 minutes). Drain pasta and coat the noodles with olive oil.

Each serving of pasta is 2oz. The maximum serving of sauce is 7oz.. Depending on your tastes you may not use all of the sauce.
