Ingredients

1 onion, chopped
2Tb butter
1lb cabbage, sliced thin
1 quart sauerkraut (1 jar) -rinsed
1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced
42g (or so) Portabello mushroom, sliced
6 oz stewing beef
6 oz veal, cut into small pieces
11 oz mixed polish sausages
4 oz ham (deli)
1 container beef broth (900 mL) and water
1 c diced tomato
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp pepper
Directions
combine ingredients. Top up with water if needed. Bring to boil, simmer for a few hours. Refrigerate, next day cook for a few more hours.
