Introduction

Ingredients

    quick cooking oats(1 cup)
    milk(1/2 cup)
    chunky applesauce(1/4cup)
    honey(1 tbsp)
    canola oil(1 tbsp)
    egg(1)
    baking powder(1/2 tsp)
    cinnamin(1/4 tsp)
    vanilla extract(1/2 tsp)
    salt (pinch)

Directions

preheat oven to 350 degrees
spray small loaf pan with non-stick spray
In a small bowl mix together oats, baking powder, cinnamin and salt.
In another bowl wisk together milk, egg, applesauce, honey, oil, and vanilla until very well blended.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir until combined.
Pour into prepared pan and bake for 35-45 min or until oatmeal feels firm when you press it a little.
Allow to cool for 5 min then flip over on to plate and slice into quaters.
Drizzle with honey, serve with apple sauce or fresh fruit or spoon some jam on top.
