Introduction

A very tasty pasta salad my mom makes that doesn't include any mayonnaise at all! A very tasty pasta salad my mom makes that doesn't include any mayonnaise at all!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 box of your favorite pasta
    1 can chick peas (garbanzo beans)
    1/2 can black olives
    1/4 cup roasted red peppers (cut into small pieces)
    2 tbsp red wine vinegar
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
    Basil, salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Prepare the pasta as directed on the box. Run cold water through it and allow it to sit in the refridgerator to cool down. Combine cool pasta with all other ingredients and mix well. Seasonings can be adjusted as needed. Allow to cool completely before serving (it tastes best that way!). Makes about 8 1-cup servings.
