Introduction
This is not your average pancake, this is one that my family enjoys and is baked in the oven. It makes a nice treat for any meal, not just breakfast. This recipe makes about 6 servings, which works well for a family of three or family of four. If making for two people just cut recipe in half. Ingredients
-
Lactantia: Lactose Free (2%), 8 oz
Five Roses All Purpose Flour - White, 1 cup
Egg, fresh, 4 large
Vanilla Extract, 1 tbsp
Becel, 6 tsp
Directions
Heat oven to 425 degrees
Using pyrex cake pans and add butter/margin and melt into each pan about 2 tsp into each pan, more if desired.
Once you have the butter/margin melted in the pan, pure into the pan the pancake mix, it will mingle with the butter/margin that has melted. You do not wont this to me very think, the idea is to have a thin coating on the bottom of the pan.
Place pan into oven and bake for 10 minutes or until golden which ever is first.
Remove from oven and serve.
Step and repeat with the rest of the mixture.
NOTE: I use 3 18x9 Pyrex Bake Pans for this recipe, each pan makes 2 servings on average, though you can get 3 servings from a single pan.
Number of Servings: 6
