-
Westsoy SEITAN wheat protein (2 8-oz packages)
1 and 1/2 cups BBQ sauce (vegan)
2 TBSP Spectrum organic peanut oil
Directions
Slice cubed seitan into 1/2 to 1/4 inch slices
Pour the BBQ sauce into a large wide bowl and set near stove.
Brush a cast iron skillet or griddle with 1 tbsp of peanut oil. Heat to Medium heat, and spread out Seitan slices on griddle, and heat until browned, about 3 minutes. Remove coated seitan pieces and return to heated griddle to heat through, about 1 to 1 and a half minutes on each side. Remove when heated through and return to remaining sauce in bowl.
Serve on a roll, crusty french bread, or bun as desired.
