Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 tbls chili powder
    1 tbls vegetable oil
    1 tsp ground cumin
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp ground red pepper (cayenne)
    1 large clove garlic, finely chopped
    8 pork loin or rib chops, 1/2 inch thick (2 1/4lbs)
    4 cups steamed broccoli
    4 tsp butter or margarine, melted

Directions

1. Mix chili powder, oil, cumin, salt, red pepper and garlic. Spread mixture evenly on both sides of pork. Plae in dish. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes but no longer then 24 hours.

2. Heat gas or charcoal grill. Place pork on grill over medium heat. Cover grill, cook 10 to 12 minutes, turning frequently, until slightly pink when cut near bone.

3. Divide pork chops among 4 dinner plates Divide broccoli among plates; drizzle with melted butter.

Makes 4 servings of 2 chops and 1 cup of broccoli each.

    It was alright, but it seemed like it should have been shredded and put into a taco rather than eaten as a chop, you know? I'd make it again, but only to chill and use in salads. - 5/28/14
