Ingredients
-
1 pat butter (to "grease" the baking dish)
1/3 whole green pepper, sliced thinly in small pieces
8 large whole eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 boneless chicken breast (pre-cooked), sliced into small peices
2 ounces cheddar cheese, shreded
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit.
Grease a square (or other) baking dish.
cut up pepper, chicken, and set aside.
Shred cheese and set aside.
In blender blend 8 raw eggs, 1/2 cup heavy cream, salt and pepper.
add meat, veggies, and cheese to buttered baking dish. pour egg mixture over it all.
Bake in oven until done. [about 30 minutes or so depending upon your oven and how "done" you like your eggs]
makes four large servings.
If you are not watching your carbs you can:
bake it in a crust and/or
add other veggies to it and/or
vary the ingredient to suit you
to make it tastier you can:
add some pre-cooked bacon or other savory meat
vary the cheese
