Ingredients

    1 TBS Canola Oil
    2 links Hot Italian Sausage-sliced
    1/2 LB raw shrimp
    1/2 LB Chicken breast cut into 1 inch chunks
    2 tsp Brown Sugar, packed
    1 cup chopped onions
    1/2 cup celery, raw
    1/2 cup bell pepper chopped
    2 cloves garlic
    1/2 tsp Paprika
    1 cup canned stewed tomatoes, Canned, No salt,
    2 1/2 cups chicken broth, College Inn , low sodium
    1 Bay Leaf,
    1 tsp basil
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp Tabasco Sauce
    1 cup White Rice, long grain
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions

Saute chicken and sausage separetely and set aside
Add brown sugar to drippings and stir at medium heat for 2 min.
Add onion, celery and bell pepper and saute until tender.
Add all remaining ingredients except shrimp and rice.
Bring to a boil.
Simmer 45 minutes.
Add shrimp and rice and simmer approx 30 min more until rice is done. serves 6
