Introduction

A basic [spicy] chili that's nice to come home to. A basic [spicy] chili that's nice to come home to.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/2 lb 85% lean ground beef (or leaner, if you prefer)
    1 cup Goya low sodium red kidney beans, drained
    1 cup Goya low sodium pinto beans, drained
    1 cup Hunt's Tomato Sauce
    2 jalapenos, sliced
    1 medium yellow onion, finely diced
    1 tomato, diced
    3 cloves garlic, finely diced
    Cilantro, Cayenne, Cumin, Splenda to taste (I use appx 1 tbsp, 1 tsp, 1 tbsp, 1 packet, respectively)

Directions

Brown and drain the beef in a skillet over low-medium heat
Add everything to crock pot/slow cooker (I use a small 2 qt)
Cook on "low" for at least 8 hours
Serve with chips, cheese, and sour cream if desired.
Makes 4 1-cup servings
