Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 lb. beef (she used short ribs but any kind of beef is okay)
    1 onion chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    3 celery stalks, chopped
    3 beef bouillon cubes
    1 tabelspoon chopped parsley

    4 carrots, either diced or sliced
    1 pound green beans, washed, cut into pieces
    1 can chopped tomatoes, 28 oz.

    1 cup sour cream
    2 tablespoons of white flour
    a little milk


Directions


In a large soup pot, add water about half way. Bring to a boil. Add beef, onion, garlic, celery, parsley, bouillon cubes and cook uncovered about one hour til the meat is well done,

Then add the carrots, green beans, chopped tomatoes.
Cook until veggies are soft.

In a small bowl mix together the sour cream and flour until smooth adding a little milk. Add this mixture to the soup pot a little at a time until well incorprated. Simmer until soup is thickened....do not overcook or boil. When thick turn off the heat.
1 cup = 1 serving

    sounds good but I would leave off the sourcream and flour to save calories - 2/19/11
