Introduction

This is an easy way to liven up breakfast. One can substitute whole grain bread and fully cooked turkey sausage links for a healthier version as well. This is an easy way to liven up breakfast. Ingredients

    5 large eggs, beaten
    1 cup 1% Milk
    4 slices white bread
    6 Banquet Brown and Serve Maple Sausage links, thawed
    3/4 Cup Shredded Colby Jack Cheese, divided
    Optional - Nature's Seasons to taste

Directions

Grease 8x8" casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. Tear up all 4 slices of bread and spread evenly around dish.
In a large bowl, mix together the 5 beaten eggs and 1 cup of milk, 1/4 cup colby jack cheese, and any seasonings desired. Cut up all 6 Banquet sausage links and add to mix. Pour mixture evenly over bread in casserole dish.
Bake for 20 minutes at 375, or until top has risen and appears slightly golden on the sides. Add remainder of cheese to top and bake another 5-10 minutes.
Makes 6 evenly divided servings.

    Incredible!
    This was a last minute supper and was a hit with everyone!! Even my picky 5 year old loved it! I used Jimmy Dean's turkey sausage crumbles instead of the Banquet brand and wheat bread, and it turned out great. - 9/26/12
