Ingredients

    Onions, raw, 4 cup, chopped )
    Carrots, raw, 4 cup, chopped )
    Celery, raw, 4 cup, diced )
    Chicken Broth, 48 fl oz )
    *Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes, 7 cup )
    Spinach, frozen, 1 package (10 oz) yields )
    Cabbage, fresh, 1 head, small (about 4-1/2" dia) )
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp )
    Green Beans (snap), 3.75 cup )
    Beans, pinto, 3.75 cup )
    Beans, red kidney, 3.75 cup )
    Pepper, black, 1 tbsp )
    Thyme, ground, 1 tsp )
    Water, tap, 3 cup (8 fl oz) )
    Barley, pearled, raw, rinsed 1 cup

Directions

Combine Ingredients into a 10 qt or larger pot and stir frequently on medium heat. Use your own seasoning. And rinse barley before adding. Makes 20 2 cup servings - great for freezing.
