Ingredients

2 Tbs olive oil
1 lb. sirloin steak or defatted stew meat
1 medium onion, minced
8 oz mushroom, sliced
2 medium to large cloves of garlic, minced or grated
8 oz reduced fat sour cream
2 Tbs flour
2 tsp beef broth
1/2 cup water
1/4 tsp each salt and pepper
8 oz noodles
Directions
1. Put water on to boil for noodles.
2. Whisk together: sour cream, flour, water, broth, salt and pepper and set aside.
3 In large frying pan, saute beef and onions for 2 minutes while stirring.
4. Add mushroom and garlic and continue cooking until meat is cooked through.
5. Meanwhile add noodles to water to cook and time them.
6. Drain meat/vegetable mixture and save the liquid.
7. Stir sour cream mixture to meat and vegetables in fry pan and continue to cook until sauce is thick and bubbly. Add liquid if too thick then serve over noodles.
Note: can use chicken or turkey in place of beef. When doing so just substitute chicken broth for beef broth and cook as above.
