Ingredients

1 1/2 c. butter
1 c. water
4 T. heaping cocoa
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 t. salt
1/2 c. sour cream
1 t. soda
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter
6 T. milk
4T. cocoa
3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 t. vanilla
Directions
Combine butter, water and cocoa in 2 qt pan. Heat to boiling. Remove from heat. Add flour, sugar and salt. Beat well with mixer. Add sour cream, soda and eggs. Mix until well blended. Pour into greased 15 x 11 x 1 ½ inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 22 minutes. Remove cake from oven and frost while hot.
Frosting: Combine butter, milk and cocoa in pan. Heat to boiling, stirring often until mixture bubbles. Remove from heat. Beat in sugar and vanilla. Blend well and frost cake.
Store in refrigerator.
