Introduction

DMWOOD13's recipe with my ingredients for nutrition info
This was my first time making the recipe and I think I'll try it again without adding the tomato sauce. Initially it didn't look like I had enough liquid but after simmering for 20m I decided to reduce it a bit.

    1 red bell pepper (small)
    1 green bell pepper (med)
    2 T chilli powder
    1 tbsp cumin
    1 tbsp oregano
    1 tbsp red pepper flakes

1 small can of tomato sauce*
1 can yellow corn no salt added, drained

Directions

Brown turkey in a large skillet or large shallow pot. After 1 minute, add onion and pepper and spices.
Cook until turkey is no longer pink.
Add canned ingredients and bring to a boil
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 30-45m or until onions and peppers are soft
8- 1 cup servings

You can top with cheese, cilantro, sour cream etc. if you'd like. I had mine with a side of cornbread. Nutrition info not included.
If you need to reduce it more, just simmer uncovered as long as necessary.
