Easy and hearty beef stew to warm you up on a cold day! Easy and hearty beef stew to warm you up on a cold day!
Number of Servings: 6


    1.5 lb beef stew meat
    2 TBS canola Oil
    2 TBS flour
    1 can kidney beans
    2 cans whole new potatoes
    2 pkgs brown gravy mix
    1 tsp Perfect Pinch Roasted Garlic and Red Pepper
    .5 tsp cayenne pepper


Pour oil into large stock pot. Add in stew meat (should be in bite sized pieces) brown gently. Stir in flour and gravy mix and turn meat to coat. Pour in 2 quarts cold water. Drain and rinse potatoes and beans and add to pot with seasonings. Allow to simmer for about 45 minutes or until broth is thickness you want. Add additional seasoning to taste.
