    1/2 kg raw jackfruit, deseeded and cut into small pieces
    2 large sized onions, chopped
    3 medium sized tomatoes, crushed to make puree
    2 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
    1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
    1 tsp chilli powder
    salt to taste
    1/4 tsp garam masala powder
    mutton masala MDH - 1tbsp
    2 to 3 green chillies, finely chopped
    2 to 3 tbsp fresh coriander (dhania)
    1 tsp ginger (adrak) paste
    3 tbsp oil and more for frying


Heat oil in the karahi, fry kathal till golden brown. heat oil in the wok add onions and ginger paste,saute on low flame till brown. add salt and tomato puree, saute till all the water evaporates and the oil leaves the sides of the wok. now add all the masalas, stir foe 4-5 mins till oil comes out of the masala.now add kathal and 1/2 cup water. sim. toss it after 10 min and more then remove it from fire after 30 min.
