Introduction

Modified from 17 Day diet recipe. Original recipe called for okra instead asparagus (but I didn't have any--though I am sure it would be yummy too) Modified from 17 Day diet recipe. Original recipe called for okra instead asparagus (but I didn't have any--though I am sure it would be yummy too)
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 baked chicken breasts. diced
    1 1/2 cups cabbage, chopped
    1 large carrot, chopped
    1 cup asparagus, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 large celery stalks with leaves, chopped
    1 15 oz can crushed tomatoes
    1 14 oz. can fat free chicken broth
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    Herbs to taste (italian seasoning, basil, parsley, etc.)

Directions

Place all ingredients, except chicken, in a large pand and simmer for one hour or until vegetable are soft. Add in chicken during last 15 minutes of cooking. Heat thoroughly.

Serving Size: makes 4 2 cup serivngs
