Introduction

I found the company that makes the pyramid shaped lavender tea bags they use in Ruby Tuesdays for this drink so now I can make them at home for a fraction of the cost! Ingredients

    1 jigger of vodka
3 oz pear nectar (I used Micasa brand)
1 Tea Forte Lavender Cirtus cocktail infusion

Directions

Ruby Tuesdays makes these by mixing the vodka and pear nectar in a shaker with ice and pouring into a martini glass. They then add the lavender tea bag after the fact. I think they do this mostly for effect so you can watch your drink turn a lovely shade of lavender. Dipping it in and out of the martini glass a few times will help speed the process but be careful to taste once it starts to turn purple so you don't get more lavender taste than you might like. It's a scrumptious cocktail and not bad at just over 150 calories.

    Good
Pretty good. Recipe says to use one infusion bag for each drink - these are WAY too expensive for that. I used two bags to infuse a whole batch (that made 6-7 big martinis.) Used a little more nectar than they called for, too. Great if you like unusual, aromatic and attractive drinks! - 1/14/13
