This is a quick and easy meal. This is a quick and easy meal.
Number of Servings: 8

1/2 pkg. or 3 cups Egg Noodles
    2 lbs. hamburger meat
    1 sm. can Tomato Sauce
    2/3 cup Ketchup
    1 can Stewed Tomatoes
    1 medium Onion
    1/2 cup Bell Pepper
    1 tsp. Seasoning Salt
    1 1/2 tsp. Garlic powder
    Black Pepper to taste
1/2 cup Carrots, raw strips or slices
    1/2 cup Peas, frozen
    1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
    1/2 cup mozzarella shredded

Cook egg noodles while preparing meat. (Cook as directed on package.) When done set aside. Dice onion, bell pepper and carrots, set aside with the peas. Place hamburger in large pot and start cooking, add spices, onion and bell pepper to hamburger. Place a lid on it and let it cook stirring every couple of minutes. After 8 minutes pour grease out of the hamburger. Add tomato sauce, ketchup, stewed tomatoes, carrots and peas to hamburger, cover, stiriing occasionally. When hamburger and carrots are cooked thoroughly, add noodles. If it is to dry add more ketchup. (Mixture should not have liquid standing in it.) Remove from heat. Place in a large casserole dish or leave it in the same large pot you cooked it in. Add cheeses evenly over the top and cover. The heat alone from the goulash will melt the cheese within five or ten minutes. Serve hot. Makes 8 one cup servings.
