    1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
    1 c. margarine, melted
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp cloves
    1 tsp nutmeg
    2 tsp cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    2 tbsp. ground flax
    1/4 c. wheat germ
    2 3/4 c. oats
    3 c. rice crispy cereal
    1/4 c. sunflower seeds
    3/4 c. pumpkin seeds
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. pitted dates, chopped
    1 c. dried apricots, chopped
    1 c. semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Form into cookies, similar to making a hamburger patty, Bake at 350 for 15-18 mins.

    These "cookies," are very filling, and our kids love them. I eat one of these as a snack or as a quick breakfast. - 5/18/11
