Ingredients
-
1 (15 oz) can of Kidney Beans
1 (15 oz) can of Great Northern Beans
1 (15 oz) can of Chili Beans (Pinto Beans with Chili Spices)
2 (15 oz) cans of Tomato Sauce
1 (14.5 oz) can of Diced Roasted Tomatoes
2 packets of Chili Seasoning
2 lbs. of 93% lean Ground Beef
Directions
1. Pour all beans, sauces, and powders into your crockpot. Stir.
2. Turn your crockpot on high.
3. Brown the ground beef completely.
4. Pour grease off of ground beef.
5. Put ground beef in the crockpot.
6. Cover and let cook until hot. Your time may vary, but it usually doesn't take very long, approx. an hour total.
Your crockpot can be kept on low or keep warm to allow your chili to stay heated while you are waiting for guests. This recipe makes lots of leftovers, and you can refrigerate or freeze them for later meals.
You may opt to add cheese to your chili but it's not included in the nutritional count. I like to serve my chili with very small slices of sourdough bread.
Serving Size: Makes 15.7 1-cup servings
Number of Servings: 15.7
