Introduction
The warm sticky sensation of a cinnamon bun, without the enormous amounts of fat, calories, and sugar The warm sticky sensation of a cinnamon bun, without the enormous amounts of fat, calories, and sugarNumber of Servings: 11
Ingredients
-
1 cup whole wheat flour
2.75 tsp agave nectar (1/4 tsp per bun)
about 3 tsp cinnamon to sprinkle
Stevia or other 0 cal sweetener
Directions
preheat oven to 375 degrees.
combine flour, stevia to taste (you want it to be pretty sweet) and gradually add water until dough is slightly sticky.
Add dough to floured surface and roll out as thin and as square as possible. Make 11 even strips (if needed, trim off round edges and rework them into the strips, if that makes sense).
Measure 1/4 tsp of agave nectar at a time and spread on each strip. Sprinkle with cinnamon and additional stevia. Roll each piece up like a snail, and sprinkle with additional stevia and cinnamon
place on a baking sheet and bake for 5-8 minutes. The outside should be somewhat firm, but feel like it's still a bit soft and squishy on the inside. If you prefer less gooey cinnamon buns, bake for a bit longer.
Enjoy!
Serving Size: makes 11 small buns (serving size may vary)
