Introduction

Traditional Indian bread is usually made up of whole wheat flour. To increase the protein content of the bread , one can add soybean flour. if one consumes soy-flour consistently , it helps to reduces the cholesterol levels. Ingredients

    Wheat flour(whole)-1.2 cup
    Soya-bean flour,-.5 cup
    olive oil.-1tsp
    salt 1 good pinch(optional)
    water as needed.

Directions

Mix the two flours together. Add half teaspoon of olive oil. Rub it into the flour Then slowly add water. Then gather all the wet flour in a ball. Assess if it requires more water. The dough should not be too stiff neither it should be too loose.It should be firm but soft in touch. Knead the dough roughly for five more minutes. Apply remaining oil to the the kneaded ball.Rest the dough in a box covered for about 10 hour. Then divide the portion in equal size balls take one of these ball, round it , apply some fry flour and roll out( with hand) them in 5-7 inches diameter. On the hot griddle put these one at a time and roast them on both the sides. when still hot, remove the griddle ,put chapati directly on the heat source so that it puffs up nicely. once it puffs up remove from the heat source.Serve hot with the curries of your choice.
Optional: When the chapaties are still hot you can apply some butter or ghee if u have no cholesterol issues.
