Ingredients

1-20 oz package 93% lean ground turkey
1-16 oz package 93% lean ground beef
    1 cup plain bread crumbs
    1 egg, beaten
1 medium onion, diced and sauted
    1 clove minced garlic
    1 Tbs dried thyme
    1 Tbs dried basil
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or to taste
    1/4 cup milk

Directions

In a large bowl mix all ingredients. Roll into golf ball size meatballs and brown on all sides in a medium hot non-stick pan. Add a tiny amount of olive oil to keep meatballs from sticking. Remove from pan and put on a cooling rack over paper towels. Work in batches to prevent overcrowding the pan. Add to your favorite sauce and serve over your favorite starch. Or simmer in barbecue sauce and serve with toothpicks for a tasty party appetizer.
