Introduction

PLEASE NOTE: Nutritional info does NOT include the meat because you can use as many pieces as you want, and can use either chicken breast or pork chops. For those tracking calories, add that seperately.

-This recipe can be adjusted to whatever portion size you need... just use equal parts water, soup and rice. Adjust dry onion soup to taste (the more the better in my opinion)

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    3 cups instant rice
    3 small cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
    3 cans luke warm
    2 packets of dry onion soup mix
    2-4 chicken breasts or pork chops (boneless preferrable)

Directions

*this is going to be prepared in layers*
1- pour rice into large roast pan, spread to cover bottom of pan
2- lay meat on top of rice, spread evenly across the pan
3- pour condensed soup over meat, spead with a rubber spatula to even out
4- sprinkle dry onion soup mix evenly over the mushroom soup layer
5- add 3 cans of water as the top layer
-DO NOT MIX AT THIS POINT

-cook at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
-remove from the over, stir well to mix layers together
-cook for an additional 45 minutes

-Remove meat from the mixture and serve on it's own, serve the rice as the side dish with a veggie.
