Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    1 1/2 cups plain oatmeal , uncooked
    2 tsp . cinnamon
    2 cups brown sugar, packed
    1 cup butter, melted

    Mix first 4 ingredients together; blend in melted butter. Place 1/2 in bottom of 9X13 pan; reserve remaining mixture.

    Cut 8 cups of rhubarb into 1/4 to 1/2 inch pieces. Place on top of flour/oatmeal mixture in pan.

    Boil together until clear:

    2 cups white sugar
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 cups water

    Remove from heat and add 2 tsp. vanilla.

    Pour over rhubarb.

    Sprinkle remaining flour/oatmeal mixture over top of rhubarb and sauce mixture.

    Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
