Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 cups whole wheat flour,
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt,
    1/4 cup canola oil,
    2/3 cup skim milk,

Directions

Makes 12 1-biscuit servings
Preheat oven to 450 F
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt
Using fork, gently stir in oil and milk
Using a teaspoon, drop batter into 12 mounds on greased (vegetable oil spray) onto baking sheet
Bake for 10-12 minutes

    Good
    The biscuit was a little dense, so if you're looking for a light, fluffly biscuit, this isn't the one for you. I added a little bit of rosemary and sage to liven up the flavor.

    On the positive side, I liked that it was all whole wheat and that weren't many calories per serving.
